PhD Programmes in Chemical Engineering

The practice of transforming substances into usable products is called chemical engineering. Studies in this discipline can prepare students for careers in areas such as the chemical, pharmaceutical, energy and petroleum industries.

Canada is a North American country consisting of ten provinces and three territories. Located in the northern part of the continent, it extends from the Atlantic to the Pacific and northward into the Arctic Ocean.

The PhD is a doctoral degree, specifically called a "doctor of philosophy" degree. This is misleading because PhD holders are not necessarily philosophers (unless they earned their degree in philosophy!). That said, PhD recipients are able to engage in thought experiments, reason about problems, and solve problems in sophisticated ways.
