Part time PhD Programmes in Financial Mathematics
Certain mathematical subjects, such as statistics and linear algebra, are effective in the analysis of the behavior of markets. Economists, bankers and business consultants would all benefit from applying themselves to a detailed study of these concepts in a financial mathematics program.
Europe is, by convention, one of the world's seven continents. The PhD is a doctoral degree, specifically called a "doctor of philosophy" degree. This is misleading because PhD holders are not necessarily philosophers (unless they earned their degree in philosophy!). That said, PhD recipients are able to engage in thought experiments, reason about problems, and solve problems in sophisticated ways.
