The PhD is a doctoral degree, specifically called a "doctor of philosophy" degree. This is misleading because PhD holders are not necessarily philosophers (unless they earned their degree in philosophy!). The doctorate is addressed to graduates in Psychology, who have a Masters in Psychology or a related discipline: Sociology, Education Sciences, Anthropology, Social Work, Communication Sciences, Health Sciences, Philosophy.
The Interinstitutional Doctorate in Art and Culture (DIAC) is the result of the conjunction of academic efforts of the Public Universities of the Western Center Region of ANUIES in which universities participate: Autónoma de Aguascalientes; from Guadalajara; of Guanajuato and the Michoacana of San Nicolás de Hidalgo. It has been created for the training of duly trained specialists in the analysis, research and diffusion of culture and art, from the local and regional spheres of Mexico to the adequate and necessary reflection on these issues in a global dimension. The Center for Social Sciences and Humanities presents the syllabus of the Doctorate in Sociocultural Studies (previous denomination, Doctorate in Social Sciences and Humanities), with a focus on the training of researchers, to offer a quality postgraduate, transdisciplinary and flexible option.
The Doctoral Degree in Anthropic Sciences, is an interdepartmental and multidisciplinary program offered by the Center for Design and Construction Sciences, the Departments of Construction and Structures, Habitat Design, Geotechnics and Hydraulics, as well as Theory and Methods . This postgraduate course offers greater flexibility as a tutoring system, which strengthens research activities.
The Doctorate in Biological Sciences is a postgraduate program recognized by its HIGH QUALITY in the level of Consolidation granted by CONACYT in the National Program of Postgraduate Quality (PNPC).
The Doctorate in Administrative Sciences offers ample possibilities for those who want a program that suits their needs.
The program is aimed at the integral formation of human resources at the graduate level, to engage in generation, validation and / or transfer of knowledge and training of professionals, are responsive to innovative proposals and supported knowledge to demands solution to the problem of animal production systems, sustainable use and exploitation of natural resources in Chihuahua, Mexico and even beyond.
General Objectives: To train personnel with a high academic level and ample and sufficient knowledge in the contents, theories and methods of the main branches of mathematics, with skills for the autonomous study and understanding of the results and advances of modern mathematical research; prepare human resources capable of carrying out advisory and mathematical support tasks in research and development projects in the different disciplines of a scientific and technological nature; train trained personnel to carry out original and independent research in the field of mathematics and its applications; prepare qualified human resources for teaching at the university and postgraduate levels; contribute to the improvement of mathematics education levels in northwestern Mexico; Promote and strengthen research in mathematics in northwestern Mexico.
General Objective: To train researchers who are capable of producing original knowledge about educational realities and apply them in a creative way with the purpose of contributing, with ethical sense, to the solution of problems and the attention of educational needs, through the formulation of fundamentals that sustain innovations and educational reforms at the regional and national levels.
