Part time Doctorate Studies in Social Sciences in the Brighton United Kingdom 2020

The PhD is a doctoral degree, specifically called a "doctor of philosophy" degree. This is misleading because PhD holders are not necessarily philosophers (unless they earned their degree in philosophy!). That said, PhD recipients are able to engage in thought experiments, reason about problems, and solve problems in sophisticated ways.

Courses in the social sciences prepare students to engage within human society. Through courses such as economics, political science, anthropology, sociology, history, and psychology, students may gain a better understanding of how the world around them works.

Brighton is the city where over one third of the population make students currently enrolled in higher education. There are five public colleges and universities, most of whom also have campuses outside Brighton.
