You’ll become a skilled research practitioner with a broad set of advanced skills to help you address global challenges. Your training in this Accounting Integrated PhD will enable you to effectively engage with – and shape – socioeconomic policies. This includes areas such as innovation, entrepreneurship, inclusive trade, minimum wage, education and development.

Systems Engineering and Informatics (SEI) postgraduate study program follows up several master’s study programs at VŠB – TU Ostrava, Faculty of Economics, especially Information and knowledge management. This study program is scheduled for 4 years and graduates are awarded the Ph.D. degree. The program can be studied in several mutations – full-time and part-time, in Czech and in English.

Students who successfully completed their (follow-up) master´s studies in the same field of study or a related one will be admitted to PhD studies. Applicants who have duly submitted their application and have attached all the required documents will be subjected to individiual assessment of the submitted documentation (results of previous studies, CV, a list of published and unpublished works) and the opinion of the supervisor will be taken into account.
