The Oregon State University/Oregon Health & Science University (OSU/OHSU) Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) graduates are eligible for licensure as a pharmacist anywhere in the United States and are prepared to advance patient care solutions with creativity and confidence.

    The College of Pharmacy at Oregon State University offers a research-oriented graduate program of study in pharmaceutical sciences that is individually designed to meet each student’s career interests and goals. Our nationally renowned faculty members have strengths in all areas of pharmaceutical science, and many have been recognized for teaching excellence, outstanding research, and their professional activities. Research focus areas include the exploration and design of anti-infective agents, the design and development of innovative drug dosage forms, and the mechanisms and consequences of drug interactions with living organisms. We are currently accepting applications from students interested in the Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) or terminal Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences encompassing the disciplines of pharmaceutics, medicinal chemistry/natural products, or pharmacology. Prospective students may apply to the Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) or Master of Science (M.S.) in Pharmaceutical Sciences degrees in the College of Pharmacy encompassing the disciplines of pharmaceutics, medicinal chemistry/natural products, or pharmacology.
