DBA Paris

Audencia offers the DBA Paris Programme to suit the lifestyle of executives wishing to combine their practical expertise with the highest level of management training. Studying on the DBA is flexible as participants can choose to take courses online or face to face at the Audencia Paris campus. Our experienced DBA faculty deliver courses and seminars at the Audencia campus in Paris over weekends. Participants have the choice to join in person or online. The taught courses enable participants to develop their skills in management research and to engage with cutting-edge research topics and themes in different management domains. Participants develop advanced management research competencies during the first part of the programme through taught courses, enabling them to continue to develop the research for their doctoral thesis under the supervision of Audencia faculty.

Key information

• Training duration: 3-year doctoral programme. Approximately 12 blocked weekends of face-to-face courses in Paris over the duration of the programme (most courses are delivered in 2-3 days in the first 18 months)
• Eligibility criteria: MBA or Master degree + 5 years professional experience including managerial responsibilities. Minimum 25 years of age. Exceptionally candidates with 3-4 years of experience may be considered.
• Selection: academic record and interview
• Tuition fee 32,000 euros (not subject to VAT). Scholarships covering part of the fee may be available for eligible applicants

Audencia faculty accompany DBA participants during their doctoral journey. The diversity of the profiles in each DBA group is a key factor to promote experience-sharing. Originating from different countries and sectors, DBA participants have experience of different business functions and industries and proven managerial experience. Group sizes are small and enable close interaction between participants and faculty members. Doctoral development and career workshops during the programme support DBA candidates in choosing the right career path following their DBA studies.

DBA participants often aim to fast-track their management career through achieving a doctorate, gaining in-depth experience and knowledge and enhanced leadership reputation through conducting a large-scale research project within their organizations or sectors. Alternatively, DBA candidates may seek to become consultant experts in a particular business and management domain through the completion of their DBA studies.
