Introduction
The Political Marketing Doctorate Program, Actors and Institutions in Contemporary Societies is inserted in the field of research in Political Science, Public Administration and Sociology, presenting the doctoral student with a research scenario from the construction of critical thinking as well as discussion , empirical and theoretical deepening in key social and political problems, the formulation of relevant research questions and identification of knowledge gaps in the field of political and social sciences.
Although the program allows the completion of doctoral theses in any field of social and political sciences, special attention is paid to actors, political institutions, public management and the analysis of public policies, and emphasis is placed on the processes political and institutional communication, as well as the transformations of contemporary societies and their political systems.

Ideal Students
Recommended income profile:
- Graduate students in Political Science, Journalism or Information Sciences, Economics, Business Administration and Management, Advertising and Public Relations, Management and Public Administration or Law, with a Master's degree in Political Marketing, Public Management, Youth and Society and Business Management NGOs and International Cooperation, Political Science or similar.
In the event that the number of those preselected does not exceed the number of new admission places offered by the doctoral program, the Academic Committee will proceed to their admission.
In the event that the number of preselected students exceeds the number of new admission places offered by the doctoral program for full-time students, the Academic Committee will proceed to their admission in accordance with the following criteria, cited in order of prevalence. :
- Graduates in any of the master's degrees taught at the Faculty of Political Sciences of the USC: Master of Marketing, Consulting and Political Communication of the USC, Master of Public Management of the USC, Master of Youth and Society, and Master of Management of NGOs and International Cooperation (in the accreditation process).
- Graduates of a Master's Degree in Political Science, Administration and/or Public Management, Sociology or Communication compared to others.
- Graduates/graduates in Political Science and Administration, Public Management, Sociology and Communication compared to others.
- Graduates/graduates in sciences and academic disciplines linked to Political Science and Administration with respect to others.
Under the name "sciences linked to Political Science and Public Administration or Management" all those with a presence in the Study Plans of the Degree Degrees in Political Science and Public Management of the participating Universities are integrated without distinction.
