This program aims at producing graduates with advanced research and analytical skills, capable of bringing their managerial and entrepreneurial skills to leading contemporary organizations.

The Ph.D. Economic and Organizational Sociology was established by the Technical University of Lisbon in 1991 and adapted to the European Higher Education Area in 2009.

The Dean has authorisation regarding matters not provided for in the General Academic Regulations or Faculty Regulations. The Dean may also, during any academic year and at the recommendation of the Postgraduate Committee, cancel the registration of any student whose academic progress is not satisfactory.

Ph.D. in Risk Assessment and Strategic Investment is a qualification where students having a Master’s degree in the associated fields can further enhance and upgrade their knowledge.
