Greece, officially the Hellenic Republic, or Hellas as called from ancient times, is a country in Southeast Europe. According to the 2011 census, Greece's population is around 11 million.

The PhD is a doctoral degree, specifically called a "doctor of philosophy" degree. This is misleading because PhD holders are not necessarily philosophers (unless they earned their degree in philosophy!). That said, PhD recipients are able to engage in thought experiments, reason about problems, and solve problems in sophisticated ways.

Blended learning combines digital and online media with traditional face-to-face learning. Blended learning can be used in various forms, from completely online courses to hybrid courses where students learn both in the physical classroom as well as online.
