This doctoral program aims to offer training and theses of excellence in the fields of Work and Organizational Psychology, Legal and Forensic Psychology and Consumer and User Psychology. The implementation of a PhD program in Psychology arises as a proposal from the Department of Social, Basic and Methodological Psychology of the USC to the need to have a mechanism for the training of PhDs in Social and Behavioral Sciences within the Galician University System.

Tourism has been consolidated as one of the most relevant sectors from the economic and social point of view, not only in Spain but also worldwide. In the context of disciplines of a social nature, tourism is an interdisciplinary object of knowledge that covers a wide range of activities carried out by private companies and public institutions, with an impact on the lives of people, both residents and visitors. This doctoral program brings together two singularities that make it especially attractive: the participation of 12 Spanish universities with extensive experience in tourism studies, creating synergies and stimuli for the student body; and the interdisciplinary nature with the active involvement of numerous areas of knowledge that contribute to enriching the Program through a wide range of lines of research.

The Political Marketing, Actors and Institutions in Contemporary Societies Doctorate Program is inserted in the field of research in Political Science, Public Administration and Sociology, presenting the doctoral student with a research scenario from the construction of critical thinking as well as discussion , empirical and theoretical insight into key social and political problems, the formulation of relevant research questions and identification of knowledge gaps in the field of political and social sciences.

The Doctoral Program in Veterinary Medicine and Health stems from the updating of that first Doctoral Program at the Lugo Campus called Introduction to Research in Animal Pathology (1989) to the different state and regional legislation on doctoral studies, and which Its fundamental purpose was to train doctors who could develop the highest academic, administrative and professional positions; This statement is confirmed by the excellent curricula of the doctoral students graduated from our Department.

The Doctoral Program in Basic and Applied Research in Veterinary Sciences proposes advanced and specialized training in the body of conceptual, procedural and technical knowledge that allows adequate development in the field of biomedical sciences. This Program is characterized by its interdisciplinarity, covering basic, applied and clinical areas. It has the participation of different research groups that develop their activity in the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine.

This program aims to address in an interdisciplinary way, on the one hand, basic research on cultural theory, and on the other, sociocultural research applied to contemporary globality, among which the relationships between memories, landscapes, migrations, identities, rights stand out. human beings, creations and cultural movements, addressing these issues from interdisciplinary perspectives that bring together researchers from the fields: Social and Cultural Anthropology, Political Science, Literary Studies, Philosophy, Human Geography, History, History of the Arts, Linguistics and Sociology.
